They promote the colonization and growth of nitrate- and phosphate-utilizing bacteria and other aerobic microorganisms. Through abrasion and degradation of the pellets, the microorganisms are washed into the aquarium, where they become available as high-quality food for corals and other filter feeders, or can be skimmed off.

The advantages at a glance:

•

easy-to-use filter medium for effective nitrate and phosphate removal

•

Compact size makes it suitable for fluidized bed filters or pellet reactors

•

Natural biopolymers promote the settlement and growth of nitrate and phosphate-utilizing bacteria and other aerobic microorganisms

•

These are available as valuable biomass and food source for filter feeders or can be skimmed

•

bright and luminous coloration as well as growth and vitality of the corals

•

rapid onset and long-lasting effect

Recommended use:

The NP-BACTO PELLETS must be used in a suitable fluidized bed filter or pellet reactor.
